With continuing commitment to improving customer service and reducing lead times, Sweco has added to its extensive global reach by taking the opportunity to establish a distribution and manufacturing centre at United Wire in Edinburgh to service the UK and Eire markets direct.

The Stoke on Trent office and Edinburgh manufacturing facility now work hand in hand to ensure that UK and Eire customers receive a superior service by eliminating any potential for variability of supply from international locations.

In addition, the established manufacturing systems at United Wire, including both ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems, ensure that product quality delivered to the customer are at the highest level.
